We have reports of China sales numbers out of China and the Model Y is selling like hot cakes. We wrote that this would happen a couple months ago and now it is coming true. Let's see the numbers.

Ray4Tesla has shown us the Model Y numbers in China and they are greatly surpassing the Model 3. 11,576 Model Y units were sold in August as opposed to 1,309 Model 3.

Total China numbers for August, 2021 are as follows:

Actual numbers
• Deliveries: 12,885
• Exports: 31,379

This is over 12,000 more total vehicles than July, 2021. Tesla continues to grow at an accelerated rate.

Model Y Sales in China

We wrote a couple months ago that the Model Y Standard Range would sell like hotcakes in China. This has proven to be true.

I expect that we will continue to see the Model Y sell more and more in China as the months go by. It will end up being Tesla's best selling vehicle.

Elon Musk has also said that the Model Y could be the best selling vehicle by revenue in the world by 2022, and possibly by volume in 2023.

Friends, what do you think of the Tesla Model Y sales in China? Will Tesla be able to continue to grow its Model Y sales? Will anything stop Model Y sales in China?
