A renter of a Tesla Cybertruck for 4 days said he can't believe how many people stop, stare, and take pictures. He also said that it uses a lot of battery - about 450 wh/mile and that his X Plaid is about 320 wh/mile.
Renting a Tesla Cybertruck For 4 Days
Brian Griffin rented a Tesla Cybertruck for 4 days and had the following to say about it:
I rented it for 4 days and can't believe how many people take photos and stare... It also uses A LOT of battery ( It’s the Foundation series). I think I averaged 450 wh/mile My X plaid is around 320 average. It’s definitely slower than the plaid but it’s quick. Overall it’s an awesome truck
There's a long series of discussion about this 4 day rental and the Tesla Cybertruck going on. Certainly, the Cybertruck garners a lot of attention. I recently spotted one in the parking lot by my condo and there were two people looking at it, and I was the 3rd!
A question came up about rust and the Tesla Cybertruck. Fortunately, this was debunked as the Tesla Cybertruck does not rust easily, but instead what was shown was a contaminate that can be washed off.

A Wide Range of Opinions on the Tesla Cybertruck
Another comment said that the Cybertruck is not a truck - that it is instead a rich city slicker toy - and that it can't tow or carry much. This was also debunked recently when a Tesla Cybertruck handily pulled a Ford F150 in a towing test.
Others in the comments said congratulations on the new electric car. I don't think they read that this was a guy who simply rented the Cybertruck for 4 days and didn't actually own it.
Others have said that the Cybertruck just isn't their style at all.
Another said that the Cybertruck is the first thing Elon Musk has actually designed for himself.
Another was asking how much it cost to rent the Tesla Cybertruck for four days. Nobody answered that question - however - Tesla Cybertrucks have been seen going for $1,000 a day to rent on Turo...
