We have a detailed look at the Cybertruck's frame from someone who was up close to that latest picture of it. Here's her take.
Tesla Cybertruck Frame
Kim Java posted a video with some Tesla leaks and one of those was a frame of the Cybertruck. One of the most important things she shared was a floating frame of the Tesla Cybertruck. This actually generated a lot of interest.
Before she posted this picture, the Tesla community didn't know much about the Tesla Cybertruck except what Elon Musk said in the latest earnings call. Tesla said the truck was in the tooling phase and there were a few covered images seen.
That is until Kim showed the picture of the Cybertruck frame. Her favorite comment about the video was someone sharing the picture of the Cybertruck frame.
Simon Alvarez from Teslerati mentioned this was two pieces of the rear cast for the Cybertruck. One looks like a mega cast and the other, hydroform stainless steel. She knows this picture was taken in the first few days of December.

More Details About the Cybertruck and Rear Folding Seats
Simon pointed out some details about the mega cast. Elon Musk wasn't kidding when he said the Cybertruck would need bigger castings and a bigger casting machine than the Model Y uses.
The Cybertruck is going to have a long truck bed and is going to need to carry a lot of weight. What would happen if the car gets into an accident and how would it be repaired?
Working on the Cybertruck would be a one of a kind experience. The frame would be more resilient and would dents or accident damage simply be hammered out?
It doesn't look like the Cybertruck image has a folding mid gate and folding rear seats. Many people were looking forward to this, especially the Tesla camping crowd, but this doesn't look like it's going to be the case.
There are many excited things happening in 2023 and the Cybertruck is going to be one of these. The question is, are you going to get a Cybertruck?
