A display was seen of a Cybertruck pulling a flat bed with a glass box on it with a white Model Y inside, saying, "The Best-Selling Car in the World is Made in America*"
Tesla Is Advertising
Tesla is advertising, despite what some naysayers have to say. In a clever display of advertising, a Tesla Cybertruck was seen pulling a Model Y on a flat bed in a glass case, saying that the best-selling car in the world is made in America.
Tesla is doing a variety of advertising in these ways:
- Through its Tesla account on X
- Elon Musk on X
- The Tesla Cybertruck as a mobile billboard
- Rolling displays like this
- Online advertising
Tesla advertises quite a bit, to the millions of people on X who are followers of the many different Tesla accounts out there. This is relatively free advertising for Tesla as Tesla doesn't pay for the advertising - just the time it takes to create the content.
Elon Musk is also another form of advertising for Tesla. He has over 176 million followers on X and his posts generally get millions of views - so whenever he mentions Tesla, it puts a bunch of eyeballs on what he says and drives interest in Tesla.

More Advertising From Tesla
The Tesla Cybertruck itself is a mobile billboard for Tesla. It generates so much interest wherever it goes. Someone rented one for 4 days and said they were constantly being stopped and asked for pictures of it.
When someone looks into the Cybertruck, they are most likely going to look into Tesla, which may create interest in Tesla's other products.
A rolling display like the one show in the picture here is another great form of advertising for Tesla. As this is seen, it's going to get people curious about a Tesla pulling a Tesla.
Tesla has also done some testing with online advertising and some displays at airports and other locations. I don't think Tesla is investing too heavily in this until they find out what is actually working.
I'm sure there are other forms of advertising Tesla is doing that I haven't seen before.
