Watch 1111 horsepower vaporize a set of rear tires as Jason Cammisa thoroughly reviews the Lucid Air for Hagerty.
People can stop making Lucid Air review videos now, because nothing's going to top this one. Coming to us from Jason Cammisa as part of his Icons show on the Hagerty YouTube channel, the video's got beautiful production value, deep insight, and a Lucid Air sliding sideways in slow motion while smoking the hell out of its rear tires.
Cammisa discusses the differences between Mercedes, Tesla, and Lucid, saying that the Lucid combines the best of both, then races YouTuber Alex Choi's heavily turbo'd Lamborghini Huracan with James and Thomas from Throttle House (who have their own review video here) in the Lucid's rear seat. The three converse at a relaxed, easy volume and pass around one of the Air's motors while the Lamborghini howls, smokes its tires, and appears unable to keep up. The contrast between the serene interior of the Lucid and the fury of the Lambo is beautiful to see. Here's the video, and happy Friday.
In other news, Lucid vehicles occupy the top six spots on this list of the world's 150 longest-range electric vehicles.
