Jaguar has two new engines arriving for the 2018 XE, XF, and F-Pace.
First up is a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder with 247 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque. The engine, designed and engineered in-house, features twin-scroll turbos, Continuously Variable Valve Lift technology, and a new direct-injection system. Next is a 2.0L turbodiesel four-cylinder. Jaguar doesn't go into the specifics about this engine aside from a horsepower figure of 180.
A Special Tune for the XE
The XE also sees an increase in power for its top engine. The supercharged 3.0L V6 found in the XE S has been retuned to produce an extra 40 horsepower. Total output now stands at 380 horsepower.
The new engines and revised V6 arrive at dealers in May.
