While Audi gives us a small taste of their uber-performance vehicles known as RS, Europe enjoys the vast riches. But an Audi executive says more models are coming.
Filip Brabec, Audi of America's director of product management tells Automobile Magazine; “We’re looking to significantly expand the presence of RS in the U.S. Past RS will cars have successors, and then some.”
While Brabec wasn't saying could be the possible models destined for the U.S., we have some possible guesses at to what. Audi has sold the RS6 (2003), RS4 (2007), TTRS (2012-2013), and the RS5 (2013-2015) so it would be safe to assume these models are making a comeback. Also, we could see RS versions of Audi's crossover lineup. Audi offers an RS version of the Q3 crossover in the Europe at the moment.
Currently, Audi only sells the RS7 in the U.S. A sedan version of the RS3 hatchback is coming, but no timeframe has been given.
Does more Audi RS models for the U.S. make you excited?
