Whenever you call for a taxi, you'll either end up in a minivan or some sort of large sedan. But if you happen to be the resident of Wolverhampton, U.K., you have a new option.
Automobile reports the Wolverhampton city council has licensed a neon-green Lamborghini Huracan as a taxi cab. The council says this is the first time a supercar has been licensed in a tweet.
Before you start wondering how the council was able to afford a Lamborghini of any sort, it is the result of a deal between Wolverhampton and a local wedding car rental company. Special Wedding Cars is the owner of this particular Lamborghini along with other vehicles such as a BMW i8, vintage Rolls-Royces, and even a London bus.
Now you can't hail the Huracan like you would normally with a taxi cab. You'll need to arrange a ride with Special Wedding Cars. It will cost you about £349 (about $504) for 90 minutes. But to arrive in a Lamborghini to a destination, we think it is worth the price of admission.
