Smaller than the Escalade IQ but larger than the LYRIQ, the VISTIQ will fill an important void in Cadillac's luxury lineup.
Less than a year after confirming its plans to build a three-row luxury SUV, Cadillac is introducing the 2026 Cadillac VISTIQ. The vehicle unveiled today looks like the one that Cadillac originally displayed. It is designed to provide plenty of space for passengers in all three rows with lots of luxury appointments. The 2026 VISTIQ is smaller than the ESCALADE IQ, but larger than the LYRIQ and the smaller OPTIQ that is also joining the Cadillac EV lineup.
“Cadillac continues to set the standard for American luxury. The introduction of VISTIQ will continue to propel us into the EV future,” said John Roth, vice president, Global Cadillac. “With the addition of VISTIQ, Cadillac will be one of the only brands to offer an EV entry in every luxury SUV segment.”
2026 Cadillac VISTIQ
The VISTIQ’s standard dual motor all-wheel drive system will give the SUV 615 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. torque. Cadillac estimates that VISTIQ will offer 300 miles of range. An available Air Ride Adaptive suspension, combined with Cadillac’s electric drivetrain, will give the VISTIQ an incredibly smooth ride.
“From the start, it was our team’s goal to deliver a three-row SUV that provides exhilarating performance and intuitive technology, wrapped in the brand’s iconic design language,” said Jeff MacDonald, North American chief engineer, Cadillac VISTIQ. “Bold, yet refined, the VISTIQ provides a comfortable ride while handling like a much smaller vehicle, delivering a sense of isolated precision.”
VISTIQ Loaded with Cadillac Luxury
VISTIQ is designed to win customers from other luxury brands over to Cadillac.
Some of VISTIQ’s highlights include:
- Standard Super Cruise- the industry's first truly hand-free driver assistance technology
- Intelligent five-zone climate controls
- 0-60 time of 3.7 seconds with Velocity Max
- Road Noise Cancellation provides a quieter ride
- Available Active Rear Steer improves maneuverability and turning diameter, making the vehicle feel smaller
- Available 23-inch wheels provide better ride and performance
“VISTIQ continues the Cadillac EV identity, including our signature vertical lamps front and rear, the illuminated pinstripe grille, a 33-inch diagonal high-resolution LED screen, and available 23-inch wheels, rendered in a proportionally stately and functional three-row SUV,” said Bryan Nesbitt, executive director, Global Cadillac Design. “VISTIQ helps fulfill our showroom vision to offer the most artful integration of innovation with zero-emission propulsion.”
Signature Cadillac Exterior with Updated Flair
The Cadillac VISTIQ features a Mondrian pattern within the third-row windows to provide privacy for passengers.
A comfort-conscious third row, with conveniences usually reserved for first- and second-row seats. Special amenities include padded armrests, smartphone storage, cupholders, and USB chargers.
The VISTIQ includes plenty of storage. The seating can be reconfigured for more storage capacity, plus there is also underfloor storage. The midsize SUV seating can be configured for six or seven passengers.
Advanced EV Technology
The VISTIQ comes equipped with Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) Bidirectional Charging capabilities so it can power a home during a blackout. VISTIQ also has the latest safety technology including:
- Blind Zone Steering Assist
- Side Bicyclist Alert
- Forward Collision Alert
- Standard OnStar Automatic Crash Response
- Available Night Vision, allowing the driver to see pedestrians or animals directly ahead
VISTIQ will be sold globally, including in the U.S. and Canada. It will have a manufacturer’s suggested starting retail price of $78,790 plus destination and dealer fees. VISTIQ will start production in early 2025 at General Motors’ Spring Hill Manufacturing plant in Tennessee.
As I reported when the VISTIQ was confirmed last year, Cadillac says the midsize luxury SUV will fill out the Cadillac EV lineup.
“VISTIQ adds another compelling EV to the Cadillac lineup, reinforcing our commitment to an electric future,” said John Roth, vice president of Global Cadillac. “Our brand now has an EV entry in most luxury segments, offering customers a range of choices, and Cadillac EVs will cover most luxury SUV segments across critical global markets in the next two years."
