We will see the entire vehicle on January 5, 2023, when Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares unveils it during the keynote at the CES Show in Las Vegas.
After more than a year of waiting, we are now just a month away from seeing the all-new 2024 Ram 1500 Revolution EV. The Ram Truck brand will unveil its Ram 1500 Revolution battery-electric vehicle concept at CES 2023, in Las Vegas, Nevada, on January 5. Ram is well aware that its BEV is the last of the Detroit Three EV pickups to break cover and Ram is promising that it will outdo all of its competitors, in key performance.
Watch a sneak Peek of the Ram Revolution Concept:
Ram’s CES 2023 Presence
CES used to be known as the Consumer Electronics Show and in recent years it has become the premiere place to make technology announcements. Last year, GM CEO Mary Barra debuted the Chevrolet Silverado EV there.
Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares has been invited to deliver the 2023 keynote address on Thurs., Jan. 5, 2023, in the Venetian Palazzo Ballroom in Las Vegas. Tavares’ keynote address will include the global unveils of the Ram 1500 Revolution battery-electric vehicle concept and the Peugeot Inception Concept. The Inception is an electric sedan being designed for Europe.
2024 Ram 1500 Revolution EV
Loaded with exclusive advanced technology features, the Ram Revolution BEV Concept will demonstrate how Ram hopes to redefine the pickup truck EV segment. Ram’s move toward electrification was outlined in the Stellantis Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan. Ram has promised to push past the competition as leaders in a combination of areas truck customers care about the most: range, towing, payload and charge time. Ram is promising to offer electrified solutions in the majority of its segments by 2025. It is promising to have BEVs in all segments no later than 2030.
We know that the Ram 1500 Revolution will be built on the Stellantis STLA Frame. It will have body on frame architecture and be built from the ground up, designed specifically for that frame. The Frame size battery should be 159-200 kilowatt hours and provide up to 500 miles of range.
During the original presentation, Design Chief Ralph Gilles said that the positioning of the batteries gave the designers more freedom. Gilles said that the battery will sit “nice and low” in the truck and the Electric Drive Modules or EDMs will be toward the outside of the vehicle, allowing the designers greater versatility in creating “very-attractive designs”. Gilles said Ram will “Redefine what the full-size truck looks like and also how it works.”
We'll find out on January 5th, 2023.
