The Rocky Mountain Automotive Press has selected its favorite Truck, Car and Crossover/SUV of 2017.
Nissan’s Tiago Castro shows off the all-new Nissan Titan King cab for members of the Rocky Mountain Automotive Press. The Titan Pro 4X was voted the 2017 Rocky Mountain Truck of the Year, for its strength and versatility. Nissan is making a dedicated effort to build its truck line and is exploring new options in attempts to win over loyal truck enthusiasts. The new King cab version of the popular Titan will offer buyers the ability to order their new trucks without the back seat. The extra room will allow workmen to better store tools and cargo. The new trucks will also offer better truck bed lighting as well as electrical outlets in response to customer demands.
More than 500 vehicles are on display at the Denver Convention Center for what is billed as the largest auto show between Chicago and Los Angeles. The event allows car and truck lovers the opportunity to compare all sorts of makes and models at the same time without having to hit several dealerships. Potential buyers can see how trucks or cars compare side-by-side giving a more accurate representation of size and available options.
The Rocky Mountain Automotive Press selected the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica as the 2017 Crossover or SUV of the Year. The Chrysler Pacifica has redefined the minivan segment. Chrysler pretty much created the segment and has managed to lead the way in upgrades with dozens of safety features. Stow ‘N Go seats fold into the floor for added space and the Pacifica has the latest in entertainment features to keep the little ones busy while parents are driving. Once described as a family room on wheels, the newest Pacifica is also available as a hybrid. The hybrid version is available with all of the amenities of the gasoline-only version except the built-in vacuum.
Last, but not least, the sleek new 2017 Volvo S90 was chosen as 2017 Car of the Year. The new Volvo S90 is as beautiful as it is functional, offering the latest in safety advancements. Volvo has a semi-autonomous driving mode called the Pilot Assist. Even though Volvo is now owned by Geely, a Chinese automaker, the S90 will be built in Sweden.
