When the 20th Anniversary Audi TT goes on sale, it will be a limited edition by default as the automaker is only producing 999 copies of the specialized model for customers.
For the last couple of decades, one of the more exciting Audis available has been the Audi TT. Here is more information on some Audi model development. I had the chance to drive an early production version of the TT and found that it was a machine that handled quite well with road manners that were excellent. I found that through turns and corners, the TT was quite stable, easily holding any line I chose.
2.0-Liter Turbo Is Responsive
I also found the first 2.0-liter turbo four was responsive and up to the task of moving the two-door TT along quite briskly when it had the chance to break free of the almost never-ending stream of traffic near my home. When I was in traffic, though, I also found the engine’s broad powerband means that you could lug it down to roughly 1,500 rpm, and then it accelerated right out of the low end and into a more reasonable gear for traffic duty.
Additionally, I found that the ride was quite reasonable, not unduly harsh or hard at all. I also noticed that thanks to the right combination of suspension pieces, the TT did what its designers expected, while keeping me quite comfortable as well. About the only drawback, I found was the higher-than-expected dash panel that left me sitting a bit under the wheel which was somewhat of a hindrance. That said, though, I also found the view out of the cockpit excellent with the usual blind spots. Altogether I was quite impressed by the power and torque of the power team. The seating provided me with more than enough comfort so that I was able to throw the TT around and remain securely seated. The seats, themselves, were topnotch.
That was a few years ago, and today the TT is much the same. Indeed, for the first time in two decades, Audi TT Development Plans. Audi has decided to make some significant changes to its two-door pocket rocket. For example, the TT sports a newly shaped single-frame grille, as well as restyled bumpers and air intakes and redesigned side trims and wheels.

The more powerful TTS version, available only the seven-speed S-tronic double-clutch; the non-S model is available with a six-speed manual. The TTS hits 62 mph in 4.5 seconds. The TTS now turns out 306 horsepower at 5,400 rpm. It turns out 295 pounds-feet of torque from 2,000 rpm onward.
The virtual cockpit has been revised and now features two standard display modes – Classic and Infotainment. There is also an optional Sport mode for the cluster.
