Learn more about interior buttons, controls and features for the all-new 2021 Camry XSE Hybrid. You may really like these.

The Toyota Camry trim level people have been asking for is nearly here. Expected to arrive at dealerships across the country this October, this new grade will combine sportiness with excellent fuel efficiency.

Plus, an interior cabin filled with technology, safety and convenience features. We are talking bells and whistles here friends.

I believe it was in Star Wars that “this IS the Camry you’re looking for” was famously said. At least I think I have that right. Or droids. Well, something like that.

Yes, the 2021 Camry XSE Hybrid is on its way.

2021 Toyota Camry XSE Hybrid

People expect a Toyota hybrid to deliver great gas mileage. Just look at Prius, Corolla Hybrid, Prius Prime and the new RAV4 Prime.

I must throw in 2021 Toyota Venza as well. This is scheduled for retail sale in just a couple short weeks and is going to be popular.

The all-new Camry XSE Hybrid is up the challenge as well and will give drivers 44 mpg in the city, 47 mpg on the highway and a combined mpg of 46.

XSE Hybrid creates 208 total net hybrid horsepower. This is possible through the combo of two electric motors and a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine. It also features an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission.

I recently wrote a Torque News story about 2021 Camry XSE Hybrid specs and it was received extremely well. I felt a more in-depth story was necessary.

People seem to enjoy the current Camry XSE gasoline version quite a bit. I get comments from people on my “Toyotajeff” YouTube channel who love the sporty interior cabin and corresponding features.

2021 Camry XSE Hybrid is expected to bring the same – plus a little more.

The interior cabin is a mixture of black with silver accents. Sporty and cool is the ambience here. Passengers will find leather seats with 8-way power driver and 4-way power passenger seats.

Buyers can choose the optional driver assist package which includes multi-stage ventilated cooled front seats. More on this later.

To provide better gas mileage and acceleration, look for Eco, EV, Sport and Normal driving modes. Paddle shifters are provided for those drivers who want a more involved, spirited driving experience.

Also plan on standard leather-wrapped steering wheel and a 7-inch multi-information display.

Multimedia capabilities are strong with Toyota Camry XSE Hybrid. A new standard raised, or floating, 9-inch touchscreen highlights the center dash. This comes with Audio Plus and 6 speakers, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Amazon Alexa and a 3-month SiriusXM free trial.

Toyota standard remote connected service trials include Safety Connect, Remote Connect, Service Connect and Wi-Fi Connect.

Other convenient features to look forward to are smart key push button start, dual zone automatic climate control, blind spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert and auto-dimming rearview mirror.

Optional Camry XSE Hybrid Packages

If you are thinking about buying a new 2021 Camry Hybrid XSE, consider these upgrade packages to add more value to your purchase.

Navigation Upgrade Package: Adds in Premium Audio with dynamic navigation, 9 JBL speakers with subwoofer and amplifier.

Power tilt and slide moonroof: Let there be light. And air. And access to a relaxing midnight-blackened sky while you drive. This kind of completes the whole look for Hybrid XSE Camry.

Driver Assist Package: This cool set of features includes a 10-inch color head-up display, Bird’s Eye View camera, intelligent clearance sonar with rear cross-traffic braking, and multi-stage ventilated and cooled front seats.

Toyota Video: See What is New for 2021 Toyota Tacoma in my video review.

Cold Weather Package: This adds in a heated steering wheel. You may think this is mostly useful in traditionally colder wintry climates, but I use a heated steering wheel pretty much whenever I drive a Toyota equipped with one. You may as well.

Two-tone Package: Gives your Toyota Camry a Midnight Black Metallic roof and switches to a black spoiler.
