Terra is the new 2024 Tacoma TRD Pro color. Toyota went retro cool.
Toyota goes old school with its 2024 TRD Pro color announcement this morning.
And it is cool.
The new signature color for 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro is called Terra. I guess if I am describing it, I might go with something like a warm orangish-red color with brownish earthy undertones.
I have been waiting for this color reveal for months, as this news typically gets announced early summertime. I, along with many Tacoma fans, was kind of surprised it was not revealed with the world premiere of 2024 Tacoma.

This color looks sharp and retro cool. It should be very popular with Toyota Tacoma fans.
The History of Terra
Quite a few Toyota TRD Pro paint colors have come from previous Toyota vehicles – especially FJ Cruiser. Think Cement, Quicksand, Voodoo Blue, and Army Green.
But we could be seeing an interesting callback to Toyota old school heritage here.
All the way back from the early 1980’s.
Terra Cotta was a paint color used by Toyota from 1981 to 1983. You can find it on amazing classic models like Supra, Celica, and Toyota Truck.
2024 Tacoma TRD Pro in Terra will not look quite like this, but it gives you an idea of the history here.
2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro
Yes, Terra was just announced for the 2024 Tacoma TRD Pro. Does this mean we will also see this funky fresh shade on 2024 Tundra and 2024 4Runner and 2024 Sequoia?
Thinking further ahead, could we also see Terra on the just-teased 2024 Land Cruiser?
I guess time will tell.
Time for Your Toyota Tacoma Comments
Are you a fan of the Terra announcement?
Where does this land in your TRD Pro color rankings so far (against Inferno, Cement, Quicksand, Cavalry Blue, Voodoo Blue, Army Green, Lunar Rock, Lime Rush, Electric Lime Metallic, and Solar Octane?
And more importantly, how does Terra look on 2024 Tacoma TRD Pro? Are you hoping it also lands on Toyota Tundra and Toyota 4Runner and Toyota Sequoia too?
By the way, also see: Toyota is making an EV with manual transmission, and Toyota is doing this just for fun.
Thanks for reading everyone. See you next story.
