In recent years the fashion in pickup trucks has been the off-road. Ford F-150 leads the sales, but the GMC 2020 Sierra is its top archrival. The 2020 Sierra models is basically the same good-looking truck as its 2019 model. It's just a new trim from the 2019 model. It's got special off-road hardware. It's got a 2-inch lift on the suspension and it's designed to basically be like a Ford Raptor competitor. The question is, does it have what it takes to become a sales leader and take the crown from Ford F-150.

For many months there have been hints about a Tesla battery research project going on at Fremont called Roadrunner. A mysterious new building was working on several different approaches to batteries. There were stories of the building having different exit doors and that each battery research project had its own door and their own car park. Engineers from different projects were not allowed to talk to each other. It was almost “cloak and dagger” style. Millions of dollars were being sunk into research.
