Lexus will now be in a much smaller group of compact V8 super sedans since BMW has opted out of the V8 club for next year. Going forward Mercedes will be the Lexus closest competitor with its mighty C63 AMG. Lexus might well offer a 2-door competitor to the Audi RS 5 in the next redesign.
