Tanner Foust has had a strong 2012 Global RallyCross season, putting himself among the leaders in all of the first four races of the year but in the most recent race held this past weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Foust did what he has not been able to do throughout the 2012 GRC season – winning the event final and setting up a two-car battle for the season championship with Ford teammate Brian Deegan.

The Lamborghini Gallardo is expected to laid to rest with the 2014 model year as a new “entry level” Lambo (possibly called the Cabrera) meets the world but that doesn’t mean that the Italian supercar builder is giving up on the current Gallardo – with a lightly refreshed lineup for the 2013 model year on display now at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced a recall of over 572,000 Honda Accord sedans over a concern that a high pressure power steering fluid line could leak and lead to an engine bay fire – adding these vehicles to the 52,615 Acura TL models recalled earlier this year for the same issue.

A memo came across my desk this morning that revealed that some state Dealers Associations are reaching out to Chrysler Group dealerships around their state, asking dealership owners for their opinion on the $25,000 fee being demanded by the Chrysler Group in order to earn the right to sell the new 2013 SRT Viper – claiming that these financial requirements could violate state franchise laws.
