Ford banking on batteries, electrification, engineers and jobs

In the race to fulfill CAFE standards, Ford has focused over 1,000 engineers on vehicle electrification, with most of them employed at the newly dedicated Advanced Electrification Center in Dearborn, where the brand is doubling its battery-testing efforts.
