Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), U.S.A., Inc., has just reported August 2012 sales of 188,520 units, a jump of 40.2 percent compared to August of last year and based on a daily selling rate (DSR). By raw volume alone, unadjusted for 27 selling days in August 2012 as opposed to 26 such days in 2011, TMS sales were up 45.6 percent from the same period a year ago.
