Saturday afternoon brought about the debut of the 2013 SRT Viper GTS-R race car in the American LeMans Series in Mid Ohio and while their 10th and 12th place finishes are a far cry from the win collected when the original GTS-R debut in the 90s – Team SRT is happy with the performance of their brand new race cars and they will make their next attempt in two weeks at Road America.

July 2012 had 2 fewer sales days than July 2011 and the result was a decline in the growth rate, with both of the current Ford Motor Company brands posting negative growth even though the Ford brand would have shown positive growth had the month been the same length.

General Motors reported a year over year decline in sales of 6.4% but the company points out that the decline is due in large to the decline in sales to rental car companies and other large fleets while retail sales only declined by about 3% in July 2012.
