I recently had a chance to spend a week driving the 2016 GMC Canyon with the 2.8L Duramax diesel engine and during that time, I found that the diesel Canyon is by far the most fuel efficient truck sold in America while also being the hardest working small truck I have tested thus far.

The 2017 Fiat 124 Spider Abarth is more powerful, more nimble and more fun to drive than the Mazda Miata on which it is based and after spending a day driving the new drop-top Fiat – I have no problem declaring the 124 Spider Abarth my new favorite affordable roadster sold in the USA.

Over the past year, I have had the pleasure of testing a variety of new Ford F150 pickups with the aluminum bodies and while I wasn’t dropping paver bricks from 5 feet in the air, I found that the cargo area of all of these trucks stood up as well to my own tests as steel bodied trucks – including my own personal vehicle.
