And today, at his appearance at the Qatar Economic Forum, Musk answered those questions saying, he will take a similar role at Twitter as he currently has at Tesla & SpaceX.

Tesla began selling the refreshed Model Y with 4680 cells and a structural battery pack at the Giga Texas opening event. The vehicle was a bit of a head scratcher for the Tesla community as it has worse range & performance than the 2170 Model Y Long Range. However, now we learned that Tesla is offering an acceleration boost for the refreshed Model Y through an over-the-air update.

Earlier this week, Kia announced small price increases on two of its non-electrified models for the 2023 model year in the U.S. market, the Seltos subcompact SUV and Carnival minivan. These price increases are all less than $1,000, due to inflation and increased shipping costs, and don’t necessarily affect all trim levels of these models. But it begs the question: Will Kia be raising prices on its other models soon too?

Conspicuously, Bloomberg Intelligence has completely ignored one of the largest and fastest growing electric vehicle (EV) producers in the world in its recent business intelligence piece on global battery-electric vehicles sales. In an update to the company's online configurator, Tesla has once again increased the prices of all its vehicles. The price increases range from $1,000 all the way up to $6,000. The new hikes have also pushed the starting price of the Model Y to $66,000.

In the interview, Musk said "both Rivian and Lucid will go bankrupt" that their path "will end in an intersection with doom" and that "they will end up in the cemetery" unless they change course.

Tesla started refreshed 4680 Model Y deliveries at the Giga Texas opening event. However, initial deliveries were limited to Tesla employees. Later, Tesla widened the pool of individuals that could get the new vehicle to Austin, then the entire state of Texas. Now, Tesla has begun inviting Model Y reservation holders outside Texas to get the refreshed version of the all-electric crossover.

In the past 6 months, bitcoin is down 67% with 16% of the fall coming in the past 48 hours. And as the cryptocurrency has gone lower, Tesla is down 32% in its bitcoin holdings. This coupled with production disruption in Giga Shanghai is making it increasingly likely Tesla will post a quarterly loss in Q2.

Tesla first began delivering the refreshed Model Y at the Giga Texas opening ceremony. Despite having 4680 cells and a structural battery pack, the vehicle only has a 279-mile EPA range. At the time Tesla said the small battery pack was the reason for the limited range. And today we learned that the refreshed Model Y only has a 50KWh battery pack.
