The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has quickly become one of the bestselling sports cars in the world, but the long term test vehicle belonging to the folks from Car & Driver blew an engine just 6,000 miles in – and the problem is one that could affect other C7 Corvette owners under very normal driving conditions.

In order to help boost lagging sales, the Chrysler Group has cut the 2015 Dodge Viper pricing by $15,000 across the entire model lineup while also re-issuing pricing for the 2014 model year SRT Vipers that are currently unsold and to help cushion the blow of this huge price cut, the company will also issue $15,000 new car vouchers to those 2014 Viper owners who paid the old price.

While General Motors hasn’t had much (or anything) to say about the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro, we can make guesses as to what we will see when the 6th gen F Body arrives by looking at the features of the current Corvette – including the new 8-speed automatic transmission that will make the Camaro quicker and more efficient.

One of my regular readers emailed me the picture above of a 2015 Ford F150 Lightning rendering, asking me if it something like this is coming and while I don’t know if we are likely to see a new Lightning for the new model year – this image definitely shows that the 2015 F150 could be converted into one great looking sport truck.

Over the past few months, Corvette fans have been flocking to Bowling Green Kentucky to see the eight historic models damaged during the sinkhole collapse before those cars were shipped back to GM for repairs, but after careful consideration, it has been decided that only 3 of the 8 cars will be repaired and sadly, the sinkhole exhibit in the Skydome will be sealed up.

I have crunched the numbers for August 2014 sales and although Chevrolet Corvette Stingray sales dipped a bit last month, GM still sold enough C7 Corvettes to both crush the Dodge Viper and outsell the entire lineup of Porsche cars – making the Stingray once again the bestselling premium sports car sold in the USA.

It has been all but official that the highest performance version of the 2015 Ford Mustang would be the new Shelby GT350 and while there is still no positive confirmation from Ford Motor Company, the folks at Mustang6g.com have found what appears to be the first image of the 2015/2016 GT350 Mustang badge – further confirmed unofficially that the next super-Stang will continue to wear the Shelby name.
