Tesla is one of the most well known names in the modern day automotive industry. It is the leading automotive manufacturer for battery powered cars. Yes, that means zero gasoline usage. It is without question that the evil genius behind this company, Elon Musk, has done anything except the abnormal. Their brand released their first car in 2008 and today in 2020 it is one of the most popular and practical options you can get on the market. Tesla’s have entered the market from the top down as they are quickly on their way to meet the $20,000 to $30,000 price mark, but their most popular models are $35,000 and above.

The brand is most noted by their quirky leader, their long range capabilities under one singular charge, their surprising performance aspects, and their cutting edge technology. Currently, the Model S holds the record for the longest range on one charge which was 370 miles, but Elon claims 400 miles is coming soon and also claims that the coming soon 2nd gen Tesla Roadster will not only be the fastest production car, but it will also have a range of 620 miles which is absurd.

A Lamborghini dealer in California is reporting that it sold a presumably used Tesla Model S in exchange for virtual currency. A cool story. Unfortunately, not really true.

If you think you know what type of person buys the Tesla Model S electric super-sedan you may be surprised by this interview with an actual owner. Maybe the experts are wrong.

Toyota and Tesla are both trying to create a compelling, emotional green car that will sell in huge numbers. Who will do it first?

Tesla’s biggest advantage over competitors is its direct sales and service model. As a luxury automaker serving only elite customers this is a huge plus for Tesla, but might hurt the brand badly when it builds its Gen III mass-market car.

Tesla cannot achieve its mission of a compelling, mass-market car using the Model S design type. Batteries are not Tesla's main problem. Here are the changes it needs to make, and the one way the company can do what it has set out to do.

All of the managers and all of the board of directors at electric car maker Tesla are men. If Tesla’s future business plan is dependent on government credits, subsidies, and tax abatements, it may want to consider the other half of the population for key posts like its competitor do.

We are happy to pass along the message Ford came up with this week about how much more gasoline the F-150 EcoBoost has saved when compared to the electric Tesla. However, it seems odd that a vehicle that gets 15 MPG city is the green car Ford wants to brag about.

Our engineering background is limited. Maybe our readers could tell us if Tesla's founder's idea of a supersonic airliner (that takes off vertically and lands vertically just for added difficulty) is technically possible.

In the world of automobile manufacturing a bad reputation can cost a company billions. Tesla Motors being technically right or wrong doesn’t matter at all.
