Attention all Tesla fans! The Cybertruck is coming in multiple colors! That’s right, it seems like Tesla is preparing to produce the highly anticipated Cybertruck in different shades, ditching CEO Elon Musk’s previous hints about only offering wraps. And we have the inside scoop on what this means for the future of the Cybertruck!
According to recent job postings, Tesla is hiring for various roles in the Cybertruck’s paint operations at its Gigafactory Texas facility. The company plans to use an automated system for the paint shop, but there are still several positions yet to be filled. These include Production Supervisor, Production Associate Manager, Manufacturing Engineer, Equipment Engineer, Process Engineer, Automation Engineer, and Controls Engineer, all related to the Cybertruck’s paint operation.
While it was previously unclear what colors the Cybertruck would be offered in, it seems like Tesla has been working hard to improve its paint shops in the U.S. market. The company recently launched a new color, Ultra Red, and introduced several colors at its Gigafactory Berlin in Germany.
But what about wraps, you may ask? Wraps would require more space at Gigafactory Texas, making paint a more logical option. And it seems like Tesla is taking advantage of its expertise in paint operations to offer drivers the ability to customize their all-electric trucks.
So, what do you think about the Cybertruck’s new color options? Are you excited to see what shades Tesla will offer? Let us know in the comments below!
