Breaking news everyone. Look how many deliveries Tesla did in the 2nd Quarter. Much better than expected.
Tesla just released its second-quarter 2020 vehicle delivery numbers and reports much better than expected 90,650 cars delivered in the second quarter.
Automotive and market analysts had expected between 72,000 to 83,000 Tesla deliveries during the 2nd Quarter of 2020, according to a consensus of analysts surveyed by FactSet.
Tesla's 2nd Quarter results are just a little less than the first quarter of 2020. In the first quarter of 2020, Tesla said it made more vehicles than it sold-- with 102,672 units produced, and 88,400 delivered. During the second quarter of 2019, Tesla said it made 87,048 vehicles including 72,531 Model 3s, and delivered 95,200, including 77,550 Model 3s.
