Big Truck Charger for Tesla Semi Is Now Spotted in Las Vegas

Tesla Semi truck charger spotted around Las Vegas. As you can see the Tesla Semi characters are very large and kind of overweight.

Notice that it has a compact layout. Looks like they truly can just drop it off and have an electrician land some cables and throw a switch to turn it on.

The guys on X say it's located on South Eastern Avenue in Las Vegas.

Tesla announced in November 2022 that it would be deploying new 1+ MW Megachargers for its Tesla Semi electric truck. These chargers will be capable of adding up to 400 miles of range to the Semi in just 30 minutes, making it possible for the truck to travel long distances without having to stop for long periods of time to charge.

The first Megachargers are expected to be deployed in 2023, and they will initially be located along major trucking routes in the United States. Tesla has also said that it plans to make the Megachargers available to other electric vehicles in the future, such as the Tesla Cybertruck.

• They will use a new V4 charging connector that is capable of transferring up to 1+ MW of power.
• They will be able to charge the Tesla Semi's 100 kWh battery pack from 10% to 80% in just 30 minutes.
