This testing prototype of the 2018 Nissan Leaf was seen being driven on Japanese roads and the spy shots provided by a Twitter user who took photographed the car.
It has already been officially announced that the 2018 Nissan Leaf will be unveiled on September 6 of this year. According to the preliminary information, the presentation will be held in Tokyo as part of a specially organized event. However, the public premiere is expected to take place at the Frankfurt Motor Show, which starts on September 12 of 2017.
These spy shots were posted on Twitter by a user negi1 on June 28. You can see the body of the 2018 Nissan Leaf completely conceal in the camouflage.
Nissan has already reported, as you can see in this video, that the new Leaf will feature new semi-autonomous driving functions including a new automated parking system as part of the Japanese brand's ProPILOT tech.
Nissan Leaf started with a modest 73 miles range. With gradual updates the company reached to 107 miles range thanks to its 30-kWh pack, added in 2016.
It is rumored that the 2018 Nissan Leaf with have two battery options. It is expected that the 2018 Leaf will have 215 miles range per charge, virtually doubling its current range.
