Tesla is moving towards bitcoin. Here's what is happening and what sources are reporting these changes.
Multiple news sources, including AP, have reported today that Tesla, Inc. has made a substantial investment in Bitcoin, the "cryptocurrency" taking the financial markets on a wild ride. Equally of interest to Tesla fans will be that the company may soon accept Bitcoin as payment for goods and services.
The cat was let out of the bag when Tesla, In. made a regulatory filing with its pals at the SEC. As of the writing of this story, Bitcoin remains near its monthly high point according to Google and Morningstar. Other news sources are reporting a spike in the value of the currency following the Tesla announcement.
