The 2022 Subaru Crosstrek arrival is just around the corner, and Subaru of America just activated the new website for you to start your build. After choosing a trim level and options, check out the features and see how much the subcompact SUV will cost.
The all-wheel-drive Crosstrek is still one of the best choices for small SUV shoppers. Consumer Reports (by subscription) just ranked the 2022 Crosstrek the most reliable SUVs under $30,000, and AutoGuide says it's one of the 10-Best for driving in snow and ice.
In addition to reliability, CR says they also ranked Crosstrek high for its excellent fuel economy, impressive ride comfort, handling, and it's an enjoyable subcompact SUV.
What's new for the 2022 Crosstrek model change?
The Subaru Crosstrek is in the fifth year of its production life cycle and will come with no changes, but all trims get a slight price increase. The Crosstrek is Subaru of America's hot model, and if it isn't broke, it doesn't need any upgrades. The 2022 models get a $275 price increase, and the Crosstrek Hybrid receives a $375 price bump.
There are no new upgrades for the 2022 model change. We reached out to Subaru of America, and a spokesman told us, "The 2022 Crosstrek is a carryover. There are no new features." You can read about the complete 2022 model change guide here.
What is the price of the 2022 Subaru Crosstrek?
The 2022 Subaru Crosstrek comes in five trim levels for customers. The base trim is priced from $23,570, Premium ($24,720), Sport ($27,920), Limited ($29,420) and Crosstrek Hybrid ($37,895). Prices include destination and delivery fees that increase +$75 ($1,125).
What is the 2022 Crosstrek fuel mileage?
The Subaru Crosstrek with the larger 2.5-liter Boxer engine comes with 30 more horsepower and gets an EPA estimated fuel mileage of 27/34 city/highway mpg and 29 combined mpg. The 2022 Crosstrek with the 2.0-liter four-cylinder Boxer engine gets an EPA estimated 28/33 mpg and 30 combined mpg.
When will the 2022 Subaru Crosstrek arrive in U.S. showrooms?

If there was an all electric, I would literally go to a dealership right now and pay for one.
Unfortunately I think car makers besides EV centric and Ford are surprised at the demand, making all other players woefully unprepared and I'll managed IMO.
I've said it may times recently. I absolutely loved the forester xt when we bought it a few years back. Now I just shake my head looking at what that once small promising company is doing.
