Would you buy the same car again that you are driving now? A new owner study by Consumer Reports (CR) reveals the ten new cars, SUVs, and trucks owners would not buy again and ten that say they would. See which list the new 2023 Subaru BRZ sports coupe is on now.
After driving their vehicle for two-to-three years, Consumer Reports asked thousands of owners what they thought of the model they bought and if they would buy it again. CR says they analyzed data from their latest member survey to measure the current state of vehicle owner satisfaction.
The 10 Least Satisfying Cars, According to Consumer Reports
Avoid these vehicles when shopping for a new car, SUV, or truck. They are presented in rank order, counting down to the least satisfying.
All are 2023 model-year vehicles with the percentage of owners who would buy again. Kia Forte (51%), Nissan Altima (51%), Nissan Kicks (49%), Volkswagen Taos (48%), Kia Seltos (48%), Jeep Compass (46%), Mercedes-Benz GLA (45%), Infiniti QX50 (40%), Mercedes-Benz GLB (39%), and Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport (38%).

If you are shopping for a new car, SUV, or truck, you should put these vehicles on your list this winter. Each car shows the percentage of owners who would definitely buy it again. All are 2023 model-year vehicles.
Chevrolet Corvette (94%), Porsche 911 (90%), Kia Telluride (87%), Rivian R1T (88%), Ford Maverick Hybrid (88%), Hyundai Ioniq 5 (88%), Polestar 2 (88%), Subaru BRZ/Toyota 86 (88%), Toyota RAV4 Prime (87%), Mazda MX-5 Miata (86%), and Dodge Challenger (86%).

The 2023 Subaru BRZ comes in two trim levels with two transmission options. The BRZ Premium with a 6-speed manual gearbox has a starting price of $29,615. BRZ Premium with an automatic transmission starts at $33,115. The Limited (6-speed manual) has a starting MSRP of $32,115. The Limited with an automatic transmission starts at $33,255. All pricing includes destination and delivery fees.
What sets the BRZ apart from other sports cars?
BRZ has superior driving dynamics because the sports coupe has a lower center of gravity with the flat-four 2.4-liter Boxer engine. It sits lower in the chassis offering better balance and stability in the corners.

The 2023 Subaru BRZ Premium with the 6-speed manual gearbox is where many buyers will land and offers the best value and fun for driving enthusiasts.
Where do other Subaru models rank with owner satisfaction?
After the BRZ, Subaru Forester ranks the next highest in Subaru of America's lineup with owners in how much they love their compact SUV. Seventy-seven percent of 2022 Forester owners say they would definitely buy the compact SUV again, and only 23% say they would not repurchase the same vehicle.

What about the 2022 Subaru Crosstrek?
We contacted Consumer Reports, who said the percentage of owners who would buy the vehicle again is still being determined. The overall predicted owner satisfaction score is 4/5 or 80 percent, and Crosstrek scores 5/5 in predicted reliability. We guess the percentage of Crosstrek owners who would repurchase the same model is as high or higher than the Forester.
The 2023 BRZ now has the highest percentage of Subaru owners who say they would definitely repurchase the same car. Sports car shoppers should put the sports coupe on their list.

As an owner of a 22BRZ I can say I do like it. The car isnt perfect and stills modifications to be quicker. Its much better than the previous generation but still by no means "fast".
