Subaru has achieved an exceptional feat in the Auto Express Driver Power customer satisfaction Survey for 2024. See how many mainstream and luxury brands they beat in customer satisfaction. They just put the rest of the automakers on notice.

Customers love Subaru.

Subaru's recent victory in the Auto Express Driver Power Customer Satisfaction Survey is nothing short of impressive. By claiming the top spot, Subaru has set a new benchmark in the industry, sparking excitement among its customers and enthusiasts. But what does this victory really mean?

The Auto Express Driver Power Survey is an independent study based purely on customer feedback. The information collected covers many data points, including practicality, safety, reliability, and quality, among many others. Thousands of owners responded to the poll about their cars, allowing the experts at Driver Power to collate valuable insights and produce an overall score for vehicle manufacturers.

Paul Barker, Editor of Auto Express, said: "Subaru may not be the most high-profile of brands, but owners have made it clear they're delighted with their car's practicality, safety, reliability and quality, among other key attributes."

Subaru put the rest of the automakers on notice.

Subaru, one of the smallest Japanese automakers, claimed the top spot in the latest Auto Express Driver Power Customer Satisfaction Survey, beating 32 automakers among mainstream and luxury brands on the list of manufacturers. This victory is significant as it demonstrates Subaru's exceptional performance in customer satisfaction keeps improving, surpassing even the most high-profile brands in the industry.

The Subaru brand claimed first place in five categories and second in one. These categories include interiors, practicality, cargo space, ride and handling, safety features, and quality and reliability. Subaru achieved an overall rating of 90.66 percent based on collated customer responses—the highest of any automaker. Subaru scored second in value for money

Subaru attracts customers in rural areas.

Subaru has built a long-lasting reputation for safe, tough, and fun vehicles with true go-anywhere capability. The automaker also has a customer base primarily located in more rural locations across the UK, which the cars are specifically designed for.

Auto Express went on to say, "There's clearly something special about a brand that provides such exceptional levels of satisfaction to its target audience."

Lorraine Bishton, Managing Director at Subaru (UK and Ireland), said, "We are extremely pleased to see Subaru ranked top of the prestigious Auto Express Driver Power customer satisfaction survey this year. It is a testament to the brand, our professional dealer partners across the UK, and the loyal Subaru customer base that the owners and drivers felt strongly enough to rank us so highly."

She went on to say, "Producing great value all-wheel-drive vehicles that are safe and reliable are not just statements used in our marketing; they are pillars by which the Subaru brand lives."

It's not just in the UK.

I reported earlier this week that Subaru received another impressive award. Subaru of America just caught Toyota USA for the top title in customer satisfaction in the new American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) study.

Subaru made a significant stride this year, catching Toyota for the number one overall spot with an ACSI score of 83. The mass-market vehicle competition is exceptionally fierce, especially at the top, said ACSI. It's not just with mainstream brands that Subaru excels; it's also competing with the best luxury brands.

Subaru's score of 83 also had the top marks, along with the top luxury brands Mercedes-Benz and Tesla scoring 83 points.

Subaru has a strong reputation with customers.

ACSI says, "Subaru continues to rely on its reputation for safety and dependability."

The ACSI survey includes a new question that asks customers to rate the degree to which they view their car brand as a leader on environmental issues. Among the nine highest-rated automakers for ecological leadership, seven are luxury brands, and two are ACSI co-leaders, Subaru and Toyota.

Subaru scores high across the globe.

Subaru's U.S. and UK customers are more satisfied with their new all-wheel-drive vehicles than all other mainstream car brands; they tie with Toyota in America and score as high as the top luxury vehicles. This is a testament to Subaru's unwavering commitment to build quality vehicles and to keep its customers happy, reinforcing its positive brand perception.

In the end.

Subaru has achieved an extraordinary feat in the Auto Express Driver Power customer satisfaction Survey for 2024. Their triumph over numerous mainstream and luxury brands in customer satisfaction is truly remarkable. This performance serves as a notice to the rest of the automakers, setting a new standard in the industry.

Well they didn't interview me because my 2024 Crosstrek Wilderness is sitting at the dealer waiting for the airbag ECU , it failed after 6 months. It's on back order , so I won't have my car for over a month.

I purchased a 2019 Subaru Forester Sport and concluded that this will be the best vehicle I ever purchased. I was reluctant at first since I prefer hulking American built SUVs (my last vehicle was the Ford Expedition before the Subaru) but I am happy with my first Subaru. Although I kept shopping for and test driving Fords, Chevys, and Toyotas, the Subaru Forester Sport I test drove would not leave my mind. In the end, the Subaru proved to be the best value, best quality, and appealing styling. It had the right amount of technology plus it felt trustworthy to take on road trips which I enjoy. Subaru did it right when they market their brand as Love, environmental conscious, and big on pet adoption. I love my Subaru.

i have mixed feelings about cars assembled in Indiana vs gunma, japan. there is a difference in reliability between my two limited trims, legacy (Indiana) vs Crosstrek (japan) based on my experience so far. while i love the upscale feel of the legacy, i have had my fair share of part failures that were thankfully covered under the gold plus warranty (which has more than paid for itself), but not entirely happy about the overall reliability and long term ownership prospects (beyond 100000 miles)

23 BRZ the best car I've ever owned. I've owned them all including an old Ferrari. Foreign and Domestic, I have never been happier and had 0 buyer's remorse than with the little BRZ. I also had an Impreza another great little car
