Hyundai’s future EV lineup will be called IONIQ and is no longer limited to the one model. Hyundai shows us a concept interior space of what we can expect in its future EVs.
The plan to be a global EV/Hydrogen Fuel-Cell manufacturer leader by 2025 is full steam ahead for Hyundai. The Korean car manufacturer unveiled its concept for future EV interiors moving forward. The latest fleet of EVs made by Hyundai will be called IONIQ.
New Hyundai EV Interior
Hyundai’s goal for its EV interiors is to resemble your living room because there is far more space than a typical engine-powered car. The batteries located at the vehicle floor allows for enough space to accommodate features that not even a Rolls Royce can dream of, yet.
Hyundai EV Interior Appliances
Hyundai makes sure to value your time in a world of self-driving EVs, so Hyundai formed a partnership with LC to fit the latest IONIQ lineup with appliances similar to your home. These appliances will be customizable to the customer’s needs. Examples of what is possible include; clothing care, a shoe butler, and other functions to handle mundane tasks.
Because you’re not driving, you can lay back and enjoy a 77” television mounted to the ceiling. This OLED screen is so large that two people can enjoy different content simultaneously. And to keep the “living space” spiffy, a robot vacuum will keep the car clean and disinfected.
Hyundai EV Interior Conclusion
Hyundai plans to introduce the living room style interior to the IONIQ 5, which can be out as early as next year. If you are a car enthusiast, I would love to hear your thoughts on this new future of motoring, because this will be the future.
