Elon Musk has created a Twitter poll asking if he should step down as head of Twitter. He will abide by the results of the poll.
Elon Musk to Step Down
Elon Musk has just started a Twitter poll asking if he should step down as head of Twitter. He has also said that he would abide by the results of the poll. There are a lot of responses to this, so let's go over them.
The first is that many are telling him to fix Twitter first and then step down, which would satisfy the results of this poll since there was no timeline given for him to step down. If Elon helps fix fires and improves Twitter, then someone else can take over from there.
Also, Elon Musk will still own Twitter, but is just going to find someone to take on the day to day operations. Elon Musk will likely have a voice in whatever is going on, but just not be as involved.
Others have said that Elon Musk owning Twitter is the best thing for Twitter in the long run. If Elon Musk is able to use Twitter as a platform to help Tesla get more reach and advertising, then this is a good thing. Gary Black has thanked Elon Musk via Tweet for making this a poll.

Will Tesla Get Its CEO Back?
What's interesting about this poll is that you have a divided audience. Some think this is a great idea and others think not so much. What many people are missing is that Elon Musk said that Twitter has been headed toward bankruptcy since May, 2022. It's going to take someone extraordinary to turn it around.
Lex Friedman even responded to Elon Musk asking if he could run Twitter. He said he would do it for free. Elon responded saying he must like pain and that he'd have to invest his life savings in it. This is Elon's way of making sure he is serious about it.
Lex Friedman has a very popular podcast and a large following on Twitter and is one of the great minds of this generation. I think he'd be a great fit for Twitter CEO. I think he would garner a lot of respect from people.
I think this poll is going to come out to yes, Elon Musk should step down from Twitter and it is going to become yes at a higher percentage until the poll closes. There are many who don't want Elon Musk running Twitter, which include Tesla shareholders and people who don't like him.
If the poll is indeed yes, then Tesla will get its CEO back. However, Elon Musk has run multiple companies for a long time and I think he can run Tesla and Twitter at the same time. Having Twitter taken off his plate will definitely free up some of his time.
What do you think will happen? Will Elon Musk step down from Twitter? Will Tesla get its CEO back?
