9 Covered Up Cybertrucks at Giga Texas
With some of the latest drone footage from Joe Tegtmeyer at Giga Texas, we see that there are 9 covered up Cybertrucks. Well, technically, it's 8 covered up Cybertrucks and there is one not covered, but we think we know what is going on with these.
You see, Tesla wouldn't be covering these Cybertrucks unless there was a good reason. You might be thinking that Tesla is covering them just to get people to write about them like me. If that is the case, touché, Tesla, your plan is working.
However, I don't think that's what is going on here. I think Tesla is doing some final testing of the Cybertruck with wraps and other things on the outside, and they don't want people to see what they are up to.
Tesla has been very careful not to have the range of the Cybertruck leaked. There have been so many images of them, that I'm surprised that someone hasn't found a way to leak the range.
Most likely, Tesla has disabled the swap from percentage to miles on the Cybertrucks until they are released in order to keep people from leaking the range and spoiling the surprise that Tesla has for everyone.
Look for Tesla to announce a Tesla Cybertruck delivery event soon - hopefully this month, as they continue to do final testing on the Cybertruck. That's what I believe these covered up Cybertrucks are being used for, particularly outward testing of wraps and other options.

What Is Happening At Giga Texas?
There are other things happening at Giga Texas besides the testing of the Cybertruck. This is Tesla's largest Gigafactory, and Tesla is still doing construction on it.
There was a temporary electrical switchyard, but that now seems to be decommissioned and there is a new end of the line (EOL) facility on the west side of the factory that is continuing to grow.
There are a lot of other images from Joe, and you can clearly see in them that construction is still happening and will be for some time.
I think Tesla should focus this Gigafactory on all the next generation vehicles like the Cybertruck and the upcoming compact vehicles. Why build the Model 3 and Model Y at this factory when Fremont can take care of that.
Look for Tesla to announce sometime next year that they will be building their compact car at Giga Texas (as well as Giga Mexico).
What do you think about these 9 Cybertrucks? Will Tesla build the compact car at Giga Texas?
