With Tesla's recent price cuts, you can be assured that if these prices stay the way they are, that the Tesla Cybertruck will come down in price. Here's what we think it will be.

Tesla Prices and the Cybertruck

Tesla has recently dropped its prices around the world by a large percent - some price cuts were 20%! This is good news for consumers and for those customers who pre ordered a Tesla Cybertruck.

Many people were thinking that a quad motor Cybertruck was going to be more than $100,000. That made sense to think that way when a long range Model Y was in the high $69,000 range.

Times have changed, however, and that same long range Model Y has come down quite a bit as well as the Model 3 and the Model S and the Model X - across the board, Tesla's prices have come down and I think that means the price of the Cybertruck is going to come down too.

Tesla has stated that its prices are being lowered because there is more certainty in the supply chain and things are more predictable than they were when inflation was going up. It's clear that inflation is coming down now and that means lower prices for everything.

Enter, the Cybertruck, which Elon Musk has stated will have a dual-motor and a quad-motor variant. In fact, there is recent news that the design of the Cybertruck has been finalized.

There is even reports that there are features in this final design that will be brought to the Cybertruck that haven't even been announced yet. We are curious to see what these end up being.

I think the single motor variant of the Cybertruck is just not going to happen. When people buy a truck, they want towing power, not a single motor and single point of failure. The quad motor will be the variant that Tesla starts with and we believe the price will be $79,900. This will put it just under the IRA tax credit limit for trucks.

This price is now possible due to the drastic lowering of prices by Tesla. When the dual-motor version is released, we think it will be around $55,000. The dual-motor should have around 300 miles of range and the quad-motor 450 to 500 miles of range.

As always, things can change, but if I had a pre-order for the Cybertruck, I would keep that pre-order in the queue just to see what the price of it ends up being.

What do you think the price of the quad-motor Cybertruck will be?

Makes sense that quad will be around 79k. If I understand correctly quad theoretically can hit close too 600 miles per charge, as 3 motor was announced will be 500+. Where is plus came from? Possibly as optional solar panel cover. Remains to be seen, but regardless it's exciting time.
