We have a video of Tesla at CES 2023, one of the biggest tech shows of the year. 94,000 people used a specific technology of Tesla and Elon Musk there.
Tesla's Biggest Flex at CES 2023
Many companies showcase products at CES in Las Vegas every year and 2023 was no different. There is the Las Vegas loop that has a Boring Company tunnel that has a self-driving Tesla in it that drives people around.
This is not to be confused with the HyperLoop, which is a high speed rail system with fast trains and pods with vacuum sealing and levitation with magnets. Elon Musk isn't actively working on that.
The Tesla Loop is working brilliantly and with 115,000 people attending the event, over 94,000 of them used the Tesla loop. That is a lot of exposure for Tesla at this major tech event.
Elon Musk created The Boring Company as a way to combat soul crushing traffic. Normal traffic is in 2D and can't go up or down very easily without bridges. Tunnels underground have an infinite number of dimensions they can use.
The Las Vegas convention loop uses 80 Tesla vehicles and is 1.5 vehicles. There is also a dedicated charging station nearby as well. The average ride time was less than 2 minutes and average wait time less than 10 minutes. The average customer review was 4.9 out of 5.0 stars.

What Else Went On
The drive the Tesla Loop does in 2 minutes would take about 30 minutes in normal traffic. There is unanimous approval to expand to 51 stations covering 29 miles under the Las Vegas trip, which would connect all major hotels and airports.
This would reduce surface traffic and going underground requires that the vehicles be electric. Once Tesla gets everything ready for FSD, they will be able to drive by themselves underground. I think Tesla may even add special code just for the Las Vegas Loop.
For anyone who has never experienced a Tesla vehicle, this is a great first exposure to ride in one while experiencing a much better travel time that would otherwise be soul crushing traffic in Las Vegas.
There are a variety of other companies at CES, including VW, Mercedes, Dodge, Faraday, and others. Many different EVs were on display, not just Tesla. The experience below ground is only up to 40 miles per hour. A cab ride above that takes 20 to 30 minutes is only 2 minutes. While people waited in line for an hour, the loop wait time is non-existent and fast. This is genius marketing for Tesla.
I see the Las Vegas loop being replicated in other major cities and this might be the solution to autonomy that is needed, whereas on city streets, things are much more difficult.
