A Tesla Model S Plaid owner gives his impression of the vehicle after driving it 20,000 miles.
Tesla Model S Plaid Review After 20,000 Miles
An owner of the Tesla Model S Plaid shares his experience after 20,000 miles. Here's his review.
This owner of a Tesla Model S Plaid shares his perspective. He drives a lot - about 2,500 miles a month. It is his daily driver. He uses it to drive his kids to school and for day to day errands. This car does not have a loud exhaust, even though he likes that.
The car has over 1,000 horse power and is a fast car. Most reviews about the car are about how fast it is. This is more of an owner's perspective on the Model S Plaid. This car has been out for a while and the owner had a chance to buy it before. He bought it now and sees that Tesla has addressed an issue and put wider tires back.
In addition to the wider tires, there are flared out fenders and this is a wide car. He likes the wide car. The Model 3 Performance is a little more nimble. There is a larger battery in the Model S Plaid and it is a tri-motor.
This owner likes the look of the Model S Plaid and it looks more like a traditional car. The Model 3 has a little bit different look than the Model S Plaid. This owner thinks this is a good looking car. He has the Arachnid wheels, which causes the car to have a little less range - but he likes the look of them better.
Additional Review and Inside the Car
An issue this owner had with EVs is that they would run out of steam on the highways. This car accelerates to high speed on the highway like nothing he has ever seen. The interior of the car is quite large. It's the largest car this owner has owned. There is a flat floor at the back of the car and a center console in the back.
It's very handy to have something in the back of the car to keep the kids entertained. The back seats has a center tray that comes forward with wireless chargers and in the front there is also two wireless chargers. Another thing that is nice about EVs is that you just open the car, put on the seat belt, and put the car in drive, and that's it.
There is a frunk to the car with storage which is nice. This owner hasn't used it yet and there is extra storage there. In the back of the car, there is a trunk that opens and it has a sizeable amount of space as well. This owner likes the feature where a cargo cover can flip over the trunk area.
The glass roof of the Model S Plaid is huge and nice. The steering wheel utilizes the yoke. The center console has various storage areas that you can put items in. The center console controls everything very easily.
EVs are also nice because you can drive with one pedal. You rarely have to use the brakes in a Tesla because of regenerative braking that allows you to slow down. The car also has an incredible audio system and when you play music, because of how quiet the car is, the sound comes in through very clear.
The Model S Plaid is about 4,500 pounds and that is due to the large battery. The Tesla Model S Plaid isn't quite a sports car, but it is not. It's a 4 door big sedan that is very fast. It accelerates faster than any car this owner has ever used and he has driven many different sports cars.
What do you think of the Tesla Model S Plaid? Would you get one if you could afford it?

The Tesla Plaid is a great
The Tesla Plaid is a great example of several of the advantages of EVs. With gas powered vehicles there was always a trade of between economy, performance, comfort, cost, and reliability. Economy cars were cheap to buy and operate, and reasonably reliable. But once you modified them to be quick, both economy and reliability suffered. You could buy a very fast car, but it cost a fortune and was also not economical to run or repair. The Tesla Plaid is quicker than most every other car on the planet, but it has the operating cost of a Honda Civic, plus it can haul 5 people, has good storage, and is quiet and smooth for daily driving. It is not cheap unless you compare it to performance cars that come close it it's performance. And those expensive and rare supercars are horribly impractical for any kind of daily driving.
I'm sorry but this review
I'm sorry but this review says nothing about the owner's experience with the vehicle over his 20,000 mile experience. The article sounds like it was written by a third grader and simply regurgitates what is already widely known about the car
