It has been almost half a year since Porsche revealed the second-generation Panamera. Later this month at the LA Auto Show, the German automaker will introduce two new variants.
First up are the Panamera and Panamera 4. The entry-level variants feature a brand new turbocharged 3.0L V6 engine producing 330 horsepower - 20 more horsepower than the outgoing 3.6L V6. The new V6 is also more fuel efficient, though fuel economy figures aren't available.
Second is the long-wheelbase Panamera called the Executive. Porsche stretched the Panamera's wheelbase 5.9 inches, with all of that added space going to the rear seats. Standard equipment includes panoramic roof, adaptive rear suspension, a rear sunshade, heated comfort seats for all passengers, and power-adjustable rear seats. Options include a large rear console and a rear entertainment system.
The Executive will be available on four Panamera models,
- Panamera 4 (330 horsepower)
- Panamera 4S (440 horsepower)
- Panamera 4 E-Hybrid (462 horsepower)
- Panamera Turbo (550 horsepower)
The new Panamera variants will go on sale sometime next year.
