As promised, country singer Chris Stapleton has released his new single "I'm a Ram". It's all part of a huge week for the singer who has partnered with Ram to build a one-of-a-kind truck called the "Traveller".
Country superstar Chris Stapleton has released his recording of “I’m a Ram”. The song highlights the release of Stapleton's specially designed Ram “Traveller” Truck. The truck is on display at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, along with an exhibit called Chris Stapleton: Since 1978. This partnership between Ram Truck and Stapleton has been going on for several years.

The “Traveller” is part of the latest project between Stapleton and Ram. The eight-time Grammy-winning singer worked closely with the Ram design team to create a modern vehicle with a “Retro” color palette that harkens back to the 1970s and 1980s.
The “Traveller” is built on the platform of the Ram 2500 Heavy Duty. The most striking exterior detail is the large, three-dimensional Ram hood ornament added to give a vintage appearance.
Stapleton brings back other details from his favorite 1979 Ram Palomino truck. The Palomino-inspired exterior uses colors like Linen Cream, Radar Red, Bison Brown and Cashmere. The striped graphics featured on the Palomino are adapted to fit the 2500 Heavy Duty body. Special Turbo Fin 18-inch wheels also give a 1980's appearance.
Previously, Ram and Stapleton worked on the 2016 Ram Nation concert. They also donated instruments for students at Stapleton’s former high school in Paintsville, KY.
“Our relationship with Chris Stapleton is special because he is not just a partner, we consider him to be a friend. He represents our shared values of hard-work, determination, and perseverance,” said Mike Koval Jr., Ram brand CEO – Stellantis. “Our journey with Chris throughout his career is something we are extremely proud of and to see this Ram Truck collaboration come to fruition is an endeavor we will cherish for a long time.”
The interior of the Ram “Traveller” truck features design details, unique colors, textures and materials that pay homage to Stapleton’s musical career while showing his personal style. The Bison Brown color is featured throughout the interior. The buffalo plaid flannel headrests are the same material as the jacket worn by Stapleton on the cover of his debut album, Traveller. Walnut Burl wood appears throughout the cabin along with tailored cloth wrapped seats, speaker grilles that represent his guitar amps. Stapleton’s signature is inlaid into the wood of the instrument panel.
