JPP tricks out a Rubicon and what appears to be a 2024 Grand Cherokee for the annual off-roading event.
The 2024 Jeep Easter Jeep Safari starts this coming Saturday, and we are going to see at least two new concepts that are designed by Mopar’s special Jeep Performance Parts division. Jeep’s Trail Marker 3 shows drawings of a special 2024 Jeep Rubicon and also what appears to be a green 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It is impossible to tell if the Rubicon is a Wrangler or a Gladiator. Jeep is releasing few details but promising more 4x4 capability.
The Easter Jeep Safari always highlights Jeep’s off-roading prowess. This year, the Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) by Mopar design team is returning to the annual event in Moab, Utah, with two special vehicles. JPP is promising two new, one-of-a-kind, rock-crawling, terrain-traversing concept vehicles that will take four-wheeling to the next level on some of the toughest trails in the world and prove why there’s nothing quite like legendary Jeep 4x4 capability.
As I have reported previously, Jeep debuts several different performance upgrades that may end as special trim packages that can be ordered installed on Jeep’s straight from the factory.
Jeep designers also typically unveil several retro looking vehicles that pay homage to the tough vehicles that paved the trails before them. This will be a major event for Jeep after Stellantis paused its appearances in several major auto shows to save money after the extended UAW strike.
Annual Outing Highlights Off-Roading Innovations
For nearly six decades, thousands of rock-crawling devotees and Jeep brand enthusiasts have gathered to take part in one of the largest off-road gatherings in the world, hosted by Moab’s Red Rock 4-Wheelers club. The 58th annual Easter Jeep Safari will take place in Moab, Utah from March 23-31, 2024. Moab, Utah, has some of the world’s most beautiful views but also some of the most grueling terrain. It is often where automakers test the latest vehicles to hone their off-road performance.
Jeep’s previous sneak peeks highlighted huge tires and under carriage updates to improve performance on the trails.
