Jeep has teamed up with AEV to make its 2024 Jeep Gladiators and Wranglers even more rugged. We look into why the new packages are so popular.

Off-roading is still seeing unprecedented demand in the truck and SUV world. Jeep has witnessed the growth in popularity and is making sure its SUVs and Gladiator mid-size truck can compete with the best of them. Last month, Jeep introduced three new AEV upfit packages for its 2024 Jeep Wrangler models. Now, it is adding three new AEV upfit packages for the 2024 Jeep Gladiators.

New AEV Upfit Packages Available for 2024 Jeep Gladiators

The new AEV packages offered for the 2024 Jeep Gladiators mirror the packages announced for the Jeep Wranglers. The American Expedition Vehicles packages are called the Upcountry, Upcountry+  and the Level II. I’ll explain the difference in the packages in a minute, but first let’s look at three reasons why they are so popular.

“The dealer orderable AEV upfit packages for the new 2024 Jeep Gladiator give Jeep truck owners even more capability and customization choices,” said Jim Morrison, senior vice president and head of Jeep brand North America. “This selection of upfit packages for the 2024 Gladiator gives our passionate off-road enthusiasts the option to pick the upfit package that best suits their off-roading adventures.”

Different Packages Offer Different Levels of Capability

Some off-roaders want to be able to tackle the roughest terrain possible. You see pictures posted from these daredevils taken on the highest rocks with death-defying cliffs. If they aren’t climbing the steepest mountain faces, they at least want to look like they can do it. Other drivers know what level they want to tackle and are happy having the extra capability to conquer the trails with medium difficulty. Still other drivers know they want just a little more control as they head to the beach or on the easier trails. The three different packages all provide better handling and control when off-road.

Three New AEV Packages Offer More Customization

The new packages offer the new owner the ability to pick exactly what they want on their new ride. Do they want huge tires, better water-fording, perhaps more ground clearance? The buyer has the ability to select down to the smallest detail. Buyers can now make sure that their 2024 Jeep Gladiator looks unlike any other.

The Cost of the AEV Packages Can be Built into the Cost of the Vehicle

Customers can place AEV upfit orders for the 2024 Jeep Gladiator through their local Jeep dealer this month. Vehicles will ship directly from the Toledo Assembly Complex to AEV for upfit, then to the customer’s dealer of choice. That means that the cost of the upfit package can be spread over the life of the vehicle loan. That makes it much easier for the buyer than having to pay for the customization out of pocket. Jeep and Ram have had tremendous luck with specialty packages that be ordered straight from the factory. The reasoning is brilliant. Make a product easier to purchase and people will buy it.
