Just because a large auto company pays for CAD training for its on-site employees doesn’t mean the price is reasonable. They can write it off. Now ask anyone without a job, but looking to get trained for a new employment opportunity; their lack of cash flow simply cannot handle the costs to maintain skills.

It is well known that the current price of fuel, despite the dramatic drop yesterday, has been driving a move to more fuel-efficient vehicles nationwide. What is not so apparent is that sales of clean diesel vehicles are outpacing sales of hybrids by a full 17.1 percent. Further the total cost of ownership is lower for a clean diesel car.

Jaguar announced this morning in London that it is going to build the hybrid supercar concept called the C-X75 and it's going to require massive fuel savings for most of us because it has a price tag starting at $700,000 and just goes north from there.

The numbers are in for April 2011 sales and for the second month in a row, the Chrysler Group showed strong growth compared to the same month a year ago with the exception being the Chrysler brand – one of just four major brands in the US to show a decline in sales growth.
