There is a good chance that when the new Dodge Viper arrives in 2015, less than 500 Dodge dealerships around the country will be able to sell the newest Mopar supercar due to the requirements set forth by the Chrysler Group management to sell the Viper under the short-lived SRT brand.

When the Chrysler Group formally announced the 2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat Hemi earlier this week, they were good enough to include a couple video clips of the car in action – but this amateur video of the Hellcat Hemi revving hard is a much better display of what this 600+ horsepower monster will sound like at wide open throttle.

While the big news from the Chrysler Group yesterday was the official announcement of the 600+ horsepower Hellcat Hemi that will power the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT, but while we were all so focused on the new supercharged monster, we quickly skimmed over the fact that the new SRT Challenger will be offered in two different trimlines – one with the Hellcat Hemi and one with the current 392 Hemi.
