While the new Ford GT got the vast majority of media attention today at the start of the 2015 Detroit Auto Show, the new 2015 F150-based SVT Raptor debuted along with the new supercar and while I am a little surprised at Ford’s decision to go with a V6 engine – I am not surprised at how freakin’ awesome the new Raptor looks inside and out.

The Chrysler Group has been very quiet about what they plan to debut at the 2015 NAIAS in Detroit, but we can expect big announcements from the Alfa Romeo and Ram Truck brands while the Hellcat powered Dodge Charger and Dodge Challenger will help draw big crowds of people looking to feast their eyes on the most powerful American production cars ever.

After a great deal of speculation, General Motors has confirmed that the new Cadillac CTS-V will indeed make its world debut at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show and while details on the new super-Caddy are limited to the debut location - there is a chance that the new CTS-V could derive its power from the same LT4 V8 as the 2015 Corvette Z06.
