I think Subaru and Toyota had this car planned from the very beginning, they could have easily gotten more power out of the 2.0l boxer with a turbo right from the start, but they chose not to in order to keep the chasis balanced. Kudos to Subaru, As soon as the ability to order one of these happens I will surely put down a deposit. I also hope to god they hike up production next year (escpecially on the STi), it was so hard to find the limited in my area, I only found two automatic brzs in a dealer near pittsburgh.
