Except that in today's car climate, there are a wide swath of other cars that can do just that and be exponentially more practical on a daily basis. Some are even sold at a lower pricepoint.

Don't get me wrong, I love true "Drivers" sports cars. Afterall, I still own an 88 MR2. But when it came time for me to buy another car, I couldn't justify buying another 2 seater. The Z was instantly disqualified.
