We get all of our mileage information from two sources. The automobile manufacturers themselves and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Diesel vehicles, those very few left in production not in trucks, do not produce less CO2 or oxides of nitrogen than gasoline cars and the data is easily available at www.fueleconomy.gov. Look up any given model and see the second tab for emissions data based on testing. As far as I know, none of us smoke. Should we apologize for bringing truth to the debate?
