I completely agree with you that the direct model is the way to go for the Model S. I do think the point that I bring up is valid though for 5000,000 moderately priced cars. I HATE car dealerships, so I am rooting for tesla. Don't take this the wrong way, but Tesla folks seem to only want to hear the good news about the company. Any perceived criticism is seen by the fans as meaning that the writer has some axe to grind and is dumb as a stump.
