Is this how Soichiro would have done it? A compliance CAR? I don't think so... I think Soichiro was a risk=taker and competitor, I think Soichiro would have this car already on the market whipping the Spark and LEAF and nipping at Tesla's big models like a scrappy little dog bothering a Rottweiler.
I may be wrong.. Anyone out there have a better idea of Honda's founder?
Don't get me wrong I LOVE all EVs out there, but my first attempt at EV conversion was a Honda 600's in the '70's and it was a SAD day when I realized couldn't fit all the heavy lead acid batteries I needed in to that little chassis!
So sorry to see Honda take the Chevy EV ONE road....
